Group Rides &
Corporate Events
Bachelor parties, corporate retreats, birthday rides, family groups. We build custom experiences for groups of any size in Baja California.
Better with Friends
Dirt biking is a solo sport that is best done with a group. Whether it is a crew of friends, a corporate team building off road adventure in Baja, a bachelor party, or a family reunion with adventurous uncles, group rides amplify everything — the laughs, the stories, the post-ride beers at a vineyard.
We handle groups from 4 to 20+ riders out of our base in Valle de Guadalupe, located 90 minutes south of the San Diego border. Every group gets a custom experience tailored to the skill distribution of the riders. Mixed skill levels? No problem. We run parallel routes — beginners on the vineyard loop, intermediate riders on the mountain trail — and regroup for breaks, lunch, and the post-ride celebration.
We have hosted everything from tech startup retreats to birthday rides for 60-year-olds who had never touched a motorcycle. The common thread is that every group leaves with a shared story that has more substance than anything a conference room or escape room could produce. Riding dirt bikes across Baja terrain together creates a bond that is hard to replicate with other activities — you are physically challenged, you depend on each other, and you finish the day genuinely proud of what you accomplished.
Who Rides with Us
Corporate Team Building
Forget the escape room. Take your team across the border for a day they will actually talk about. A corporate team building off road ride through Valle de Guadalupe combines physical challenge, mutual support, and a shared reward in a way no conference room exercise ever will. The dynamics shift when the CEO is learning clutch control alongside the junior developer. Titles disappear. What remains is a group of people figuring out something new together, encouraging each other through stalls and wobbles, and celebrating genuine accomplishment over wine at the finish.
Why off-road riding works for team building: it demands communication (riders call out obstacles, help each other through technical sections), it builds trust (you are relying on your guide and each other), and it creates a shared challenge that is genuinely difficult. Nobody coasts through a dirt bike ride. The physical engagement means people are fully present — no one is checking their phone on a mountain trail. Companies from San Diego, Los Angeles, and Phoenix have used our group dirt bike tours in Baja as their annual team adventure.
We handle all corporate logistics — bike assignment, gear fitting, route planning, lunch coordination, and winery reservations. If your team needs transportation from San Diego, we can recommend shuttle services that handle the border crossing. You show up, we handle everything else.
Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties
Valle de Guadalupe is already one of the top bachelor and bachelorette destinations in Baja. The wine country has world-class restaurants like Fauna, Finca Altozano, and Deckman's en el Mogor, boutique hotels, and a party atmosphere on weekends. Add a morning dirt bike ride to the itinerary and you have a story that beats any Vegas trip.
A typical bachelor party dirt bike itinerary looks like this: arrive in Valle de Guadalupe Friday afternoon, settle into your rental or hotel. Saturday morning, we pick you up at 9 AM for a half-day ride — 3 to 4 hours on the trails including training, with routes matched to your group's ability. You are back by early afternoon, cleaned up, and hitting the vineyards by 3 PM. Sunday is recovery, brunch at Malva or La Cocina de Dona Esthela, and the drive back to San Diego.
For bachelorette groups, we offer the same experience — dirt biking is not gendered, and some of our best riders have been bachelorette parties. The combination of adrenaline in the morning and wine tasting in the afternoon makes for a weekend that everyone in the group will remember.
Birthday Celebrations
Milestone birthdays deserve more than a dinner reservation. We have hosted 30th, 40th, 50th, and even 60th birthday rides. The birthday rider gets first pick of the fleet, a personalized route based on their confidence level, and the kind of bragging rights that last well beyond the hangover. Groups typically ride in the morning and then head to one of the valley restaurants for a birthday lunch with wine pairings.
Family Reunions & Multi-Generation Groups
Family groups are some of our favorites because the skill spread is usually the widest — teenagers who are fearless, parents who are cautious, and grandparents who surprise everyone. We split family groups by comfort level, run parallel routes, and bring everyone together for breaks. Non-riders are welcome to follow in a vehicle or meet the group at a restaurant. Valle de Guadalupe has enough to do that non-riding family members will not be bored.
Club Rides & Moto Groups
If your riding club wants to explore Baja terrain without shipping your own bikes across the border, we provide the fleet and the local trail knowledge. Club groups tend to be more experienced, so we open up the more technical routes — the canyon systems toward Tecate, the mountain switchbacks above the valley, and sections that share terrain with Baja 1000 reconnaissance routes. See our trail guide for route details.
How Group Rides Work
Group Sizes
Our sweet spot is 4 to 8 riders — small enough that everyone gets personal attention, large enough for group energy. For groups of 9 to 14, we split into two waves with staggered start times (usually 30 minutes apart) so each sub-group has its own guide and its own pace. Groups of 15 or more require advance planning — contact us at least 3 weeks ahead so we can coordinate bikes, guides, and logistics.
Mixed Skill Levels
Most groups have a mix of experience levels, and that is completely fine. During the initial training session, Your guide assesses each rider individually. Based on that assessment, we split the group into ability-matched sub-groups. Beginners ride the Vineyard Trail — wide, forgiving terrain with gentle elevation changes. Intermediate riders tackle the Mountain Ridge route with more technical sections. Advanced riders get the canyon trails. Everyone regroups at designated meeting points for water breaks, photos, and lunch.
What Is Included for Groups
Every group ride includes:
• Bikes: Full fleet access — KTM 450 SX-F, KTM 300 XC-W, Honda CRF 450, and beginner-friendly options
• Protective gear: Helmet, goggles, gloves, chest protector, knee guards, boots (all sizes)
• Training: Individualized assessment and instruction for every rider regardless of experience

• Photos and video: Action shots during the ride, shared with the group afterward
• Post-ride refreshments: Water, cold drinks, and snacks at base after the ride

Package Options
• Half-day group ride (3-4 hours): Training, guided ride on one route, post-ride refreshments. Most popular for bachelor parties and birthday groups who want to combine riding with afternoon wine tasting.
• Full-day group ride (6-7 hours): Extended training, two routes or the Triangle Route, trail lunch, post-ride refreshments. Best for corporate team building groups and experienced riders who want maximum saddle time.
• Multi-day custom package (2-3 days): Multiple rides across different terrain, accommodation recommendations, restaurant reservations, winery visits. We build the full itinerary around your group's interests and schedule. Ideal for destination events where riding is the centerpiece of a longer trip.
Add-Ons
We can coordinate these extras for your group — we are not a tour agency, but we know every winery and restaurant in the valley personally and can make reservations on your behalf:
• Wine tasting: Private group tastings at vineyards along the Ruta del Vino — Monte Xanic, Adobe Guadalupe, Vena Cava, Bruma, and others
• Restaurant reservations: Group dining at Fauna, Finca Altozano, Deckman's en el Mogor, Malva, Troika, or La Cocina de Dona Esthela
• Accommodation recommendations: From boutique hotels like Bruma and Encuentro Guadalupe to vacation rentals and glamping options in the valley
• Transportation: We can recommend reliable shuttle services from San Diego or Tijuana that handle the border crossing, so your group can relax on the drive down

Get a QuotePlanning a Group Ride Step by Step
Step 1: Tell us about your group. How many riders? What is the experience range? Any non-riders coming along? What is the occasion — corporate event, bachelor party, birthday, family trip? The more detail you give us upfront, the better we can tailor the route, bike assignments, and timing. Fill out the contact form or message us on WhatsApp with this information. We respond within a few hours.
Step 2: We build a custom plan. Based on your group's experience mix, we recommend a route, duration, and package. A bachelor party with mostly beginners gets a different plan than a corporate team with three experienced riders and five newcomers. We might run the beginners on Vineyard Trail while the experienced riders tackle Mountain Ridge, then everyone meets for lunch at a valley restaurant. You will receive a detailed itinerary with timing, what to bring, and what to expect.
Step 3: Confirm and deposit. For groups of 8 or more, we require a deposit to hold the date — this guarantees bike and guide availability. The deposit is applied to your final balance. Cancellations more than 72 hours before the ride date receive a full refund. For smaller groups, no deposit is needed.
Step 4: Day of the ride. We handle all the logistics. Bikes are prepped and assigned before you arrive. Gear is sized and ready. Training is done in small groups so nobody gets lost in the crowd. Each sub-group gets its own guide. After the ride, we can coordinate lunch reservations at local restaurants — Finca Altozano, Fauna, and Deckman's are popular choices for group dining.
Step 5: Payment. Group pricing is quoted before the event. Each rider can pay individually or the organizer can handle one group payment, with any group discount already included. We accept Cash, Venmo, or Zelle only. Venmo requires a 1.8% processing fee. See full pricing details.
Group Ride Experiences
We do not post fabricated testimonials, but here is what group rides typically look like in practice:
Corporate group of 12 from a San Diego tech company: Split into three sub-groups by skill level. Beginners rode the vineyard loop, intermediate riders hit the foothills, advanced riders tackled the canyon route. All three groups met for lunch at a valley restaurant. The CEO, who had never ridden a motorcycle, completed the beginner route and immediately asked about booking a return trip for the full team. Total ride time: 4 hours. Post-ride activity: wine tasting at Adobe Guadalupe.
Bachelor party of 8 from Phoenix: Half-day Saturday morning ride. Five riders had some experience, three were complete beginners. We ran two groups — beginners on an easy loop with extra training time, experienced riders on Mountain Ridge. Regrouped at base for post-ride beers, then the group headed to Finca Altozano for a long lunch. The groom said it was the highlight of the weekend, and the weekend included two days of wine tasting.
Family reunion, three generations, 6 riders: A father, his two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and two teenagers. The teenagers were the fastest learners. The father had not ridden in 30 years. Everyone completed the ride. The daughter-in-law, who was nervous before the training session, ended up being the most enthusiastic rider in the group. They booked again for Thanksgiving.
Frequently Asked Group Questions
How far in advance should we book? For groups of 4 to 7, a week's notice is usually enough. For groups of 8 or more, we recommend 2 to 3 weeks minimum so we can secure enough bikes and guides. For corporate events during peak season (October through April), book a month ahead if possible.
Can non-riders come along? Absolutely. Non-riders can follow the group in our support vehicle, take photos, and meet riders at rest stops and lunch. They can also explore the valley independently — there are dozens of wineries, restaurants, and shops along the Ruta del Vino within a short drive of our base.
What if someone in the group is nervous? This is common and expected. Our training method is designed for exactly this situation. Your guide assesses each rider individually and assigns an appropriate bike and route. Nervous riders start with low-speed parking lot drills before heading to the trail. Nobody is pressured to ride beyond their comfort level. If a rider decides during training that they do not want to continue, there is no charge for that rider.
What about the border crossing? If you are coming from San Diego, you will cross at either Tecate or Otay Mesa. Tecate is typically faster — often under 30 minutes each way. You need a valid passport or passport card. Read our full San Diego to Valle de Guadalupe guide for detailed crossing instructions, drive times, and tips.
Is there an age minimum? Riders must be at least 16 years old. Riders under 18 need a parent or legal guardian present who signs the waiver. For younger teenagers, we have smaller bikes and gentler routes available.
What is the cancellation policy for groups? Cancellations more than 72 hours before the ride receive a full deposit refund. Within 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 6 months. Individual riders dropping from a confirmed group does not affect the remaining group's booking — the discount tier is based on the number who actually ride.
